Inspired by the strength and resilience of my little cousin Willow James, who was struck by a stray bullet in a senseless act of gun violence, this release is deeply personal. Willow was on her way home from school when she became the unintended victim of others’ reckless choices. By God’s grace, she survived and is now on the long road to recovery, fighting every day to get back to what she loves most—playing basketball.

Through the pain and struggle of watching Willow fight for her future, I found my own strength before stepping into the ring. This hat represents that fight—for her, for our communities, and for a better way forward. A way where we settle differences with heart, not harm.
